Our Story
Where it all began…
Reach North began with pastors who had a great desire to strengthen our local churches as well as plant churches in locations without a Bible preaching church. It really began with a friendship between pastors who knew that God's work of World evangelism could not be accomplished by any one man having a monopoly on the world.
What is the point?
We have one simple reason why we are working together: "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
We believe that world evangelism is possible in our generation. God has led each of us to Canada to pastor and evangelize. We truly believe that preaching the Gospel, planting local churches, discipling new converts and calling attention to pray for labourers will only increase the burden and obedience of pastors and churches in Canada.
How is this done?
We know that the world is not going to be reached by methods of man, convenience, or comfortable, Western, materialistic culture. It takes the Word of God, the Holy Spirit of God, and God's people in line with the Word of God in the matter of world evangelism. We are truly praying that God will revive Christians and local churches to see the the world evangelized for His glory.
We are coordinating and organizing the province of Ontario currently with plans to expand. Every region, district, city, community and town must be reached with the Gospel.
Why bother?
Some may wonder why bother spending money for websites, holding conferences, teaching people concerning world evangelism and spending so much time working to see this accomplished? The world is not getting better, in fact, it is waxing more wicked each day.
We completely understand that the world is not getting better. Here are just a few of the many, practical and pointed reasons why we bother:
• Because the Bible says "Go into all the world and preach the gospel" (Mark 16:15)
• Because there is a real Hell to shun. (Luke 16:19-31)
• Because each Christian is accountable to God. (Romans 14:11)
• Because the time is no greater than right now. (James 4:17-19)
